I love my Dart and would purchase it again. That is all.

What engine do you have? 1.4t making Abarth noises?

I guess that the Dart SRT won’t happen after all, which is a damn shame. I really like the look of the Dart, and a turbo AWD performance model trying to compete against this WRX, as rumored, would have been very cool to see. Hell, even a FWD performance model trying to compete with the FoST and Civic Si would have been cool.

They car is utter shit and a sentra is better. This coming from people who have driven the rental spec cars. Newsflash rental spec cars from all manufacturers are shit. Drove a rental spec jetta that was horrendous

I liked my brief time with it too. Had more pep than a Cruze but was too low for my liking. Scraped on everything.

The front overhang is definitely an issue for curbs, parking blocks and steep entrances

that’s what people don’t want to seem to admit. There’s nothing wrong with the Dart and 200; they’re just saddled with legacy baggage. Every review of the 200 has to bring up the miserable Sebring, even though they’re totally different cars. Most automotive journalists are lazy hacks.
the Dart suffers because Dodge went without an entry in the C-segment car for too long. The Caliber was a joke and everyone forgot about them.
Then, when your CEO gets up on stage and pisses all over the product, what do you expect?

the only people who say the Dart is “utter shit” are people who just need something safe to beat up on.

I’ve recommended the Dart to many people who have purchased and love it to this day. I don’t get everyone’s problem

Chrysler invited the comparison between the 200 and the Sebring with that moronic rebadging. It’s possibly the worst business decision as it’ll likely lead to the death of Chrysler. At least GM and (probably) VW got away with their idiocy.
“You know that car we’re spending billions developing to prove that we can build good cars? Yeah, let’s use that nameplate on the Sebring which has been publicly regarded as utter crap since the Clinton administration.”

The lower trims are definitely cheap, but the GT trim is fantastic. The interior is clean and made of decent materials unlike other cars in the segment. The driving feel is good, a bit stiff, but I don’t mind that. And for a sub $24k car to come loaded with features that some $28-30k cars are lacking, AND have the option for a manual, its perfect.

yeah, I think I agree. they should have waited to rename it for the new car.

I’ve only driven one, but it was a higher trim level with a 1.4L turbo and a 6 speed manual. It was fun, I really did enjoy the car. I tried to convince my wife to make it her next car but she said it was too small for her and she also wanted AWD.

Yeah, it is small and head room is pretty tight.

My only real problem with it. I’m 6'3" and I sat in one and didn’t fit. I like how they look though

Yeah head room with or with out the sunroof is not there.
